Common uses for display lighting
Each type of LED display lighting is ideal for a different purpose. For instance, recessed cabinet lights work well if you have a glass cabinet as they look much neater and give off a slicker look. If you have a wooden cabinet and you’re worried about damaging the wood, opt for an LED surface mounted light – these usually attach to the cabinet with tape and give off little heat, so you don’t need to worry about any damage being caused to the wood itself.
If you have a large piece of artwork that you’d like to show off, opt for downlights, which will cast a flattering bright light from above. Alternatively, if you have a sculpture on the wall, choose spotlights – you can even get ones which swivel, which is perfect if you have more than one piece that you’d like to draw attention to.
If have a large TV with all of the latest technology and you’d like to show it off, try our range of TV backlights – available in cool white, warm white or colour changing.
