Would the cabling of a set of 3 or 5 lights normally be daisy-chained from their common power supplier module?
No Each light needs to go back to the driver, they can not be daisy chained.
Great lights, but wish I had got Natural White rather than Warm White. The wiring is all neatly tucked away and inaccessible behind cabinets. Is it possible to re-wire at the light itself in order to replace without upsetting the existing wiring?
Not unless cutting the wires which would negate the warranty.
How are these lights wired? Is it a wire out the back that is attached to a plug or just a positive & negative wire?
Yes the wire comes out of the back of the light and is attached. It has a plug on the end to plug in to the driver.
Can you replace the bulbs and what type are they?
No the bulbs can not be changed on this fitting
The spacing between each light is 1.5m.
It has been mentioned that there is an extension wire for longer runs? How can I order this please.
I have attached the link to the extension cable below, you would require the JB version for this fitting.
We have a lot of gaps to span!
Please can you tell me the length of wire attached to each light?
Whats the longest extension lead that can be added to the existing wire on each light as well?
And what is the length of the wire from the other end of the driver, we need it to be just over a meter from the switch, is this possible?
Wire Length: 1.5m
Longest wire length including extension : 3m
Driver mains cable: 1.5m
Could you please advice what WIFI controller is compatible with Google?
Good Morning Irina,
The latest google compatible controller is currently waiting to go live as we have not yet been given permission by the supplier, this is due shortly and we will get the link straight over to you.
What is the least amount of gap that should be left between each light? Also do these lights get hot/warm?
The standard spacing is approx every 600mm. No the lights do not run warm.
Are these lights compatible with google home
Yes the are with the correct control system
Hi Team, are you able to supply a dimmable LED driver?
How many lights per driver
Yes we do a 30 watt dimmable driver for this product. I have attached a link below.
I am interested in knowing how many lights you can attach to the one driver? Also, could you let me know what area one light covers? I have 3 separate areas to put lights up - 2200mm, 1000mm and 300mm. My thoughts are a total of 7 lights but guidance would be helpful thanks
The max number of lights per driver is 6. Yes you would need 7 lights with a minimum of 2 x 20 Watt LED drivers with 6 way ports.
What is the best extension cable for these lights, i would need more than 1.5m. Thanks
I have attached a link to the best extension cable below. You would need the JB version for this light
What is the Kelvin colour temperature of the 'Warm White' Sirius panel?
Ordering options & driver rating
The options list suggests 3 or 6 light packs are available, but the details section says it is 3 or 5 light packs - can you please clarify which it is?
Also, the options list says a 6 light pack is sold with a 30W driver, but as each light is 6W surely a higher rated driver would be required? Again can you please clarify?
Hi this has been adjusted, yes it is a 5 light kit with a 30W LED driver
what are the lumns per 6W led light?
The Lumens output is 300lm per light
Where does the wire come out? At the back or in the middle? (Need to know if I can run the wires the back of the wall or have to put them in the cupboard.
The wire comes out of the back so it is easy for you to take up the back of the cabinet
"Halogen equivalent: 50w" suggests around 1000lm per panel. Is this correct?
cable connection and how does diffuser vary light output
These lights are 43lm/W
Are the cables pre wired to the light and how big are the extension connectors as I will need to join them and want to put in trunking
Is the diffuser fixed or completely removable and how do the lights look with the diffuser removed.
The cables are pre wired to the light fitting.
The extension cables are 1500mm long.
The diffuser is fixed to the light and can not be removed.
How are these lights switched on/off?
What do I need to make these dimmable?
The lights would be switch of by a wall on off switch unless you use a sensor.
I have lightwave dimmers, will they work with this? Do I need a special driver for it to be dimmable?
Yes they will you would need a dimmable driver, I have attached a link to the product below.
I currently have 3 pairs of drivers managing 6 halogen under cupboard downlighters which I wish to replace with these LED versions.
I see these come in either single, 2 or 3 pack sets and as mentioned above, I have 3 pairs with each pair having its own junction box and was wondering would I need to purchase 3 pairs or can I purchase 2 x 3 pack set. Bearing in mind that the other pair is on situated another side of the wall with its own independent junction box but goes to one switch to switch all on together.
Can I use the existing LED drivers for the LED version or would I need to purchase the LED driver so as being compatible.
I very much look forward to your advice reply.
Good Morning Laz,
Do you have a email address and I can send over a quotation for you, you can email me your address to firstname.lastname@example.org
Would like to attach these lights under shelving and plug into a socket is this possible..no electrical knowledge so easy to understand answer would be appreciated
Yes you can screw the lights to the underneath of a shelf, you would need a driver to go with the lights, you can attach a three pin plug to the driver and plug that in to get the lights working fine.
Are these lights dimmable with the correct driver and dimmer switch?
How is it attached to the mounting surface?
Screws are supplied to fit the light fitting to underneath the cabinet
I'd like to put a plug on this, would it be possible please? Do I still need a driver? If so, what do I need to buy (I couldn't see the details on this page)?
p.s. I am not an electrician so a layman's answer would be appreciated!
This light needs an LED Driver, you should be able to find the LED Driver at the bottom of the page in the customers also bought section
What are the dimensions of this light fitting?
Under Cabinet lights in existing circuit
The dimensions of these lights are:
100mm x 100mm x 6mm
I have two 42w LED panels (with drivers) already installed on single switch in household lighting circuit and would like to install your Under Cabinet light(s) on same circuit.
a) Can this be done with the 8W 3 way driver with one light
b)Could the 3 pack be used this way?
i.)Yes you can use one light with the 8W 3 way driver
ii.) Also for the 3 pack would be fine
